This is one of the first bills introduced by Obama; Federal Pell Grants are being increased for low income students. That means the maximum grant allowed now is $5100 instead of $4050. Also, Obama even talks of raising it more. If you are a single mom this one of the very best grants a mom can get. Moms can apply for this grant by choosing a college or university that they wish to attend. Make sure the college or university is running your chosen program or course first.
